Flower Size .24" [6 mm] long

Found in west Sumatra at elevations around 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with thin, terete 2 noded pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, erect, lanceolate, obtuse, apiculate, thickly fleshy, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a few, peduncle .4 to .52" [1 to 1.3 m] long, slender, wooly hairy, single flowered inflorescence carrying light dull violet flowers with some yellow in the center.

J J Smith states that this species is similar to C trinodis but differs in the shorter stems, narrower leaves, the broader tepals, a broader lip with 2 short ridges and a longer and stronger incurved column foot.
