Found in western Java in montane forests at elevations around 1500 to 1600 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with close set, slightly flattened, and carrying a single, ovate-oblong, abruptly narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late fall on many per stem, successively single flowered inflorescence arising on a hairy, white pedicel.
