Found in Thailand, Malaysia and Sumatra at elevations of 1400 to 1700 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with 3 noded stems enveloped by loose, imbricate sheaths and carrying a single, apical, lanceolate, acute, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a fascile of very short, single flowered inflorescence.
