Found in western and central Java at elevations of 1350 to 2400 meters as a medium to just large sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a mostly pendulous rhizome carrying spaced stems carrying a single, broadly lanceolate, obliquely obtuse leaf that blooms with 1 flower per stem.
