Common Name or Meaning Pieper's Ceratostylis

Found in western Sumatra at elevations around 1100 meters as a small to just medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect, tufted, terete, green, fleshy stems carrying a single, apical, erect, subulate, acute, fleshy leaf that blooms on .12" [3 mm] long, in a head-like fascile of many successively single inflorescence carrying sordid purple flowers with a yellow lip.
Close to C subulata but differs in the slightly shorter mentum snd lip apex.
