Common Name The Three Callous Carrying Ceratostylis
Flower Size
Found in western Sumatra in montane forests at elevations around 1600 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a long, pendulous, branching rhizome enveloped by imbricating bracts with terete stems that continue into the lanceolate, acute leaf that blooms on an apical, pubescent, .2 to .32" [5 to 8 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
J J Smith compared this species to C robusta but differs in the not acuminate leaves, smaller flowers and an anther that is longer than the column arms.
