Common Name Wenzel's Ceratostylis [Discoverer of Species 1900's]

Endemic to the Phillipines on the island of Leyte at elevations of 60 to 800 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with slender pseudobulbs enveloped by dry, brown, overlapping, netted sheaths and carrying a single, apical erect, terete, leathery, linear-lanceolate, acute, grooved, petiolate base leaf that blooms with a short, successively 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with triangular-ovate, acute floral bract.
