Found in southern Taiwan and the Philippines in forests on tree trunks as a miniature sized epiphyte with a short stem carrying 8 to 10, distichous, leathery, linear, falcate, acute and irregularily bilobed apically, amplexicaul sheathing base leaves that blooms in the winter on an axillary, simple, pendulous, .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with linear-lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts
