Found in Cusco department of Peru in wet montane forests at elevations around 920 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing fan-shaped epiphyte with oblanceolate, acute, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late fall on a an axillary, concealed by 3 infundibuliform bracts, with the ovary 1.8" [4.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with tubular floral bracts and carrying non-resupinate, pendent, yellowish green flowers
