Found in Vietnam in wet broad-leaved and coniferous mossy forests on rocky limestone at elevations of 400 to 1500 as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with a short stem carrying 2 to 4, basally rosulate, ovate, rigid, light green with silvery white and contrasting dark green venation, abruptly narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later fall through early spring on a terminal, erect, pubescent, 2.4 to 3.2" [6 to 8 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence with pubescent, shorter than the densely pubescent ovary, floral bracts
