Found in western India and Sri Lanka in submontane and tropical wet evergreen forests at elevations of 600 to 1250 as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with an erect pubescent stem carrying 3 to 6 or so, lanceolate-cordate, dark greenish brown above, glabrous, acute to acuminate, abruptly narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, erect, puberulous, 8 to 10 flowered inflorescence with as long as the pedicel floral bracts.
