Common Name The Toothed Chelonistele

Found only in Sarawak Borneo in hill and lower montane forests at elevations of 200 to 1100 meters as a medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with rather to very slender, longitudinaly wrinkled pseudobulbs and carrying a single, apical, plicate, 5 to 7 nerved, lanceolate to linear, acuminate, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a synanthous as the leaves just begin to emerge, flexuous, slightly to distinctly zig zag, 5.2" [13 cm] long, 6 to 9 flowered inflorescence
