Found in Tasmania Australia in shrubby and heathy forests at elevations of 5 to 800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with 2 elliptic, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the conduplicate petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter through spring on an erect, terminal, .6 to 1.6" [1.5 to 4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
