Found in northwestern Argentina as a miniature sized [smallest in the genus], cold growing terrestrial with a leafy stem carrying 5 to 7, oblong to oblong-lanceolate, acute leaves grading smaller above into bracts that blooms in the late spring on a terminal, erect, short, 2 to few flowered inflorescence.
