Common Name The Lita Echinorhyncha [Town in northern Ecuador]
Flower Size 2" [5 cm]
Found in southern Colombia and northern Ecuador in very wet montane forests at elevations around 850 to 1400 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a few leaves that can bloom at most any time of the year on a lateral, 5" [12.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
