Common Name The Thrixspermum-Like Chroniochilus
Flower Size .4" [1 cm]
Found in north Sumatra in coffee plantations at elevations around 300 meters as a mini-miniature sized hot growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying a few elliptic, acute, glabrous, fleshy, keeled beneath leaves that blooms in the summer on a more or less sessile, shorter than the leaves, successively single flowered inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers.
Distinguished from C virescens by having a large, wide, orange, double callous on the inside of the midlobe margin.
