Found in Districto Federal Brasilia in wet grasslands, and palm swamps as a medium to large sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect to erect, elongate internoded stem carrying 4, elliptic to elliptic-lanceolate, erect to adpressed, apical leaves smaller than below, basal leaves reduced to scales that blooms in the late spring and summer on a terminal, short, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence.
