Found in Parana state of Brazil as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with an erect, very leafy stem carrying erect-patent to erect, elliptic, acuminate to apiculate, amplexicaul below into the base leaves that blooms in the fall on axillary, 1 to occasionally 2 flowered inflorescence carrying large flowers.
