Common Name The Pale Cleistes

Found in French Guiana, Surinam and northern Brazil at elevations of 300 meters as a small to medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with a globose tuber giving rise to a slender, erect stem with 1 to 3 small bracts and without actual leaves that blooms in the late fall and winter on a 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
Part of the C aphylla group.
