Found in Bahia Brazil in sandy and stony fields at elevations around 1000 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with an erect, slightly sinuous, leafless stem that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, successively single, 2 flowered inflorescence.
