Found in Java and Sumatra at elevations of 900 to 1200 meters as a large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with pendulous, terete, branching stems carrying, linear, thickly fleshy, acute, oval and almost terete in cross-section, furrowed above, curved leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, branching, to 2' [60 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence arising with triangular, obtuse floral bracts.
