Found in penninsular Malaysia ? without location from a plant in the Bogor Botanical Garden, now dead as an epiphyte with a pendent, slightly zig-zag, rachis to 9.6" [24 cm] long, densely velutinous hairy, to 12 flowered inflorescence with ovate, as long to slightly longer than the ovary floral bracts.

Only a rachis was available for De Vogel to describe this orchid as the plant had died earlier and that was all that was preserved.
