Common Name or Meaning The White & Brown Coleogyne [refers to the flower colors]

Flower Size 2 to 2.8" [5 to 7 cm]

Found in Sarawak and Kalimantan Borneo in lower montane primary forests at elevations of 700 to 1200 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphtye with ovoid, strongly longitudinally furrowed pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, lanceolate, coriaceous, acute, 7 to 9 nerved, protruding, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, on a mature pseudobulb, erect, to [52 cm] long overall, peduncle provided with imbricate, long, sterile bracts at the base, peduncle to 9.6" [24 cm] long, zigzag, rachis to 11.2" [28 cm] long, zigzag, simultaneously 13 flowered inflorescence with elliptic-oblong, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying flowers with brown tepals and a white with pale ocher lip and a white column.
