Common Name The Brunei Coelogyne

Found in Brunei Borneo in riverine forests near waterfalls, 6 to 15' up on tree trunks at elevations of 100 to 200 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with close set, spindle shaped, terete to rhomboid, shallowly grooved pseudobulbs carrying 2, rather stiff, narrowly elliptic, narrowly acute, plicate, 3 to 5 nerved, gradually narrowing below into the 1 to 2"+ [2.5 to 5 cm] long, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a heteranthous, pendulous, slightly fractiflex, 7.6" [19 cm] long, to 12 flowered inflorescence
