Common Name or Meaning The Spurred Coelogyne

Flower Size .88" [2.2 long,

Found on Seram Island in the Moluccas in montane forests on trees and limestone at elvations of 2000 to 2500 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte or terrestrial with ovarlapping, well sheathed, obtuse, sometimes ending in a shap point pseudobulbs carrying 2, elliptic to lanceoalte-elliptic, obtuse, 9 prominent nerved leaves taht blooms in the winter on a synanthous, erct, peduncel base, 3.4" [8.5 cm] long, rachis zig-zag, 2.2" [5.5 cm] long, successively single to 6 flowered inflorescence.
