Common Name or Meaning The Mt. Candoon Coelogyne [A mountain on Midanao Island of the Philippines]

Found on Mindanao Island of the Philippines at elevations around 1500 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with close set, linear, tapering pseudobulbs carrying 2, narrowly elliptic to lanceolate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a terminal, erect then arching, arising with a new growth, to 12" [30 cm] long, rachis zig-zag, successively many flowered inflorescence with deciduous chafflike floral bracts.
