Found in Sabah, Borneo in hill forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool, pendent growing epiphyte with clustered, tapering towards the apex, cylindrical elongate pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, plicate, crenulate margins, broadly elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the spring and fall on a terminal, to 8" [to 20 cm] long, successively several flowered inflorescence
