Common Name or Meaning The Green Leaved Coelogyne

Flower Size

Found in northeastern Sulawesi in lower montane forests at elevations around 1200 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short, thick rhizome giving rise to conical or cylindric-conical, 4 angled, smooth pseudobulbs carrying 2, erect-spreading, ellliptic-lanceolate, acuminate, smooth, gently narrowing into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring on a synanthous, peduncel bare, 5.2 to 8" [13 to 20 cm] long, rachis erect, laxly 2 to 6 flowered inflorescence.
