Common Name or Meaning The Far Apart Coelogyne

Flower Size 2 to 2.4" [5 to 6 cm]

Found in Kalamantin Borneo in lowland riverine forests at lower elevations as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with 2 to 6" [5 to 15 cm] between each more or less ovoid, slightly grooved pseudobulbs carrying 2, obovate to elliptic, 5 to 7 main nerved, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late wither and earlier spring on a proteranthous, peduncle enveloped by bracts, rachis erect, .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm] long, simultaneously 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence with deciduous floral bracts.
