Common Name The Thread-Like Inflorescence Coelogyne

Found in Yunnan province of China and Vietnam at elevations of 1400 to 1700 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with ovoid, oblong, lightly angular pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, linear, acute-acuminate, attenuate below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a hysteranthous, thread-like, 7.2 to 8" " to .8" [18 to 20 cm] long, arched, 4 flowered inflorescence.
