Common Name or Meaning The Flores Island Coelogyne

Flower Size 1.28" [3.2 cm]

Found in the Lesser Sunda Islands on Flores island in lower montane forests at elevations around 1200 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with ovoid, rugose pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, lanceolate, acute, coriaceous, 5 to 7 nerved, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer arising on a newly developing pseudobulb, 3.2 to 4" [8 to 10 cm] long, overall, zig-zag, simultaneosuly 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
