Common Name The Coelogyne With The Grass-Like Leaves

Flower Size 2" [5 cm]

Found in China, Burma, Thailand and the Malaysian penninsula at elevations of 300 to 1700 meters as a large sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with close set, ovoid, ribbed pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, plicate leaves that blooms on an arching, 6" [15 cm] long inflorescence with a few [2 to 4], fragrant flowers occuring mostly in the summer. Some authors conclude that this species is a synonym of C viscosa. I will leave them separate until I can determine the veracity of this.
