Common Name The Libang Hara Coelogyne [ a locality in Kalimantan Borneo]

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Sarawak Borneo in lowland, primary rain forests at elevations around 100 to 200 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with close set, elongated pseudobulbs carrying a single, erect, elliptic-lanceolate, triangular to acuminate-acute, plicate, 7 nerved, narrowing below in to the grooved, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a synanthous, bare, thickened towards the top, 11 to 12" [27 to 30 cm] long, zig-zag, many flowered inflorescence with long-lasting, successively opening flowers that do not open well.
