Common Name or Meaning The Cobra-Like Coleogyne

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Kalimantan Borneo in lower montane forests at elevations of 600 to 1500 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short, creeping rhizome giving rise to close set, slender, elongate pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, plicate, oblong-elliptic, acute-acuminate, 7 nerved, narrowing below into the to 4" [10 cm] long, grooved, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late winter and early summer on a hysteranthous, thread-like, gradually thickening towards the apex, zig-zag, to 6.8" [17 cm] long, successively single flowered inflorescence
