Found in Sabah, Sarawak and Kalimatan Borneo in lowland mixed and heath forests at elevations of sealevel to 900 meters meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or occasional lithophtye on limestone with 3 to 3.8" [7 to 9 cm] between each ellipsoid to almost round, laterally flattened pseudobulb carrying 2 apical, ovate-elliptic, acute, plicate, 5 nerved, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on an arcuate to pendant, terete, to 2 to 2.6" [5 to 6 cm] long, slightly fractiflex rachis, 4 to 6 flowered inflorescence arising on a newly emerging growth with persistent floral bracts and simultaneosuly opening, fragrant flowers.
