Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found in India, eastern Himalayas, China, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia and Laos in evergreen & deciduous forests at elevations of 700 to 1200 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte on trees with a stout rhizome enveloped by sheaths and giving rise to narrowly oblong pseudobulbs with 1.2 to 2" [3 to 5 cm] between each one and enveloped basally by sheaths and carrying 2, elliptic, lanceolate, acuminate, 7 nerved, plicate, narrowing below in to the grooved petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on a hysteranthous, slender, arching, fractiflex, 3.4 to 8" [8.5 to 10 cm] long, 5 to 12 flowered inflorescence with simultaneously opening flowers and deciduous floral bracts.
