Common Name The Sarasin's Coelogyne [Swiss Naturalists 1800's]

Flower Size 2 to 3.2" [5 to 7.6 cm]

Found in Sulawesi at elevations around 800 meters as a small to medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with ovoid, slightly skewed to one side, rugose pseusobulbs carrying 2, apical, plicate, undulate margin, oblong, acute, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a newly arising growth, peduncle zigzag, to 6" [to 15 cm] long ovarall, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with long, lanceolate, longer than the ovary floral bracts.
