Common Name The Narrow Lipped Coelogyne
Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found in penninsular Malaysia on exposed ridges in upper montane forests at elevations of 1430 to 2000 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to close set, small, ovoid, sulcate with age, dark green pseudobulbs carrying 2, small, elliptic, subacute, coriaceous, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on a pendulous, 21.6" [54 cm] long, to 25 flowered inflorescence arising on a newly emerging growth with deciduous floral bracts and successively opening flowers.
