Found in Laos as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ovoid to fusiform, rugose with age pseudobulb carrying 2, apical, erect, elliptic-oblong, acuminate, attneuate below into a short petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect to arching, arising terminally on a mature pseudobulb, peduncle to 2.8" [7 cm] long, [14.5 cm] long overall, zig-zag, simultaneously 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence
