Found in the Moluccas on the island of Buru as a small sized, warm to cool epiphyte with close set, elongated pseudobulbs carrying 2, lanceoalte, gradually narrowing from the base to the apex, acute, 5 nerved, firm paper-like texture, widening below into the grooved, petiolate base leaves taht blooms in the spring on synanthous, peduncle bare, 1.8" [4.5 cm] long, rachis zig-zag, to 3.4" [9 cm] long, to 6 flowered inflorescence
