Found in Sarawak Borneo at elevations around 200 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with elongate pseudobulbs carrying narrowly lanceolate, rigid, rather thick, strongly plicate, 7 to 9 prominent nerved leaves that blooms on a synanthous inflorescence
