Found in western Sumatra on solitary trees at elevations around 1200 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with 1.6" [4 cm] between each, cylindrical, stem-like pseuodobulb carrying 2, broadly elliptic, acute to shortly acuminate, abruptly narrwoing basally into the sessile base leaves that blooms in the winter on a synanthous, erect, slender, 2.8 to 5.6" [7 to 14 cm] long, successively few, many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, glabrous floral bracts.

CAUTION I have put up two different flowers here and both could be correct, but I am not happy with either, I await better information! Of course the drawing by Schlechter is absolutely correct.
