Flower Size

Found in Peru as a miniature sized epiphyte with oblong, strongly compressed, brownish purple pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 2 basal, soon evanescent sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly oblong-elliptic, tapering below into the conduplicate base, subacute, subcoriaceous leaf that blooms on a terete, erect, to 24" [60 cm] long, racemose, loosely to 23 flowered inflorescence with distant, scarious bracts.
