Common Name Cristina's Constania [Mrs Miranda, Orchid Enthusiast, discoverer of species and wife of Francisco orchid nurseryman in Brazil]

Found in northern Minas Gerais state of Brazil on shady, lichen covered, large vertical rock faces in very dry locations as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing lithophyte with roundish, slightly flattened diagonally, wrinkled with age pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, asymetrical, ovate, acute, carinate, slightly tuberculed in crest-like lines, fleshy, basally somewhat cordate leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, single flowered infloresecence
