Found in Morelos state of Mexico, and El Salvador at elevations around 1800 meters as a small sized, cool growing leafless terrestrial with a branching, papillose rhizome giving rise to an erect, 12" [30cm] long overall, stem that blooms in the mid to late winter on a rachis to 6" [15 cm] long, 5 to 14 flowered inflorescence.
