Common Name The Frosted Leaf Corybas - The Toothed Helmut Orchid

Flower Size 1" [2 to 2.5cm]

From the moist, shady forests of New South Wales, Australia, at elevations of 10 to 700 meters found below ferns and shrubs, this terrestrial is a miniature sized, cold growing orchid with a globose tuber giving rise to a short stem carrying a basal, round, cordate leaf that blooms in the spring and summer on a short or sessile pedicel with a solitary flower arising from the axil of the leaf.
