Common Name or Meaning The Carinate Corybas
Flower Size .6 to 1" [1.5 to 2.5 cm]
Found in Malayisa, Java, Borneo and Sumatra in wet montane forests at elevations of 910 to 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a globose to oval, long pubescent tuber giving rise to an erect, pubscent beneath the ground but glabrous above stem enveloped by a basal, oblong-ovate, acuminate, basally clasping sheath and carrying a single, sessile, cordate, basal lobes clasping leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect, single flowered inflorescence with an erect, linear-subulate floral bract
