Common Name or Meaning The Large Cordiglottis

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in penninsular Malaysia and Sarawak, Borneo in lowland mixed dipterocarp forests at elevations around 200 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a short stem completely enveloped by imbricate, leafless below and leafbearing above sheaths, holding the laterally flattened, slightly curved, acute, attenuate to the sheaths below leaves held in a fan shape that blooms on a basal, very short, single flowered infloresence holding the flower tight against the base of the stem.
