Found as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial occuring in New South Wales and Victoria, Australia in various locations, in dry forest, woodland and mallee country in well drained soils with a single leaf attached to the stem with a short free part that ends below the flowers that will bloom in the summer and fall on an erect, green, to 12" [to 30 cm] long, 5 to 25 flowered inflorescence.
