Found in Victoria and ACT in subalpine and montane grasslands at elevations of 900 to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, short, stem carrying a clasping, free part .4 to .6" long, much shorter than the flowers leaf that blooms in the late spring through early summer on an erect, .8 to 1.4" [2 to 3.5 cm] long, 3 to 20 flowered inflorescence
